How to Get Rid of Popup Art Clips on Email

Popups prompting you to download or install clip art can happen when you open Web-based email in a browser. To get rid of the art clips popups, enable the popup blocker in your Web browser. The Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Safari Web browsers allow you to access Web-based email and block those annoying popup art clips.

Instructions

Internet Explorer

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Click “Tools” and select “Pop-up Blocker.”

3. Click “Turn On Pop-up Blocker.”

4. Click “OK” to save changes.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Open Mozilla Firefox.

2. Click “Tools” and select “Options.”

3. Check the box next to “Block pop-up windows” in the Options window.

4. Click “OK” to save changes.

Safari

1. Open Safari.

2. Click “Safari” from the toolbar.

3. Click “Block Pop-Up Windows” from the Safari drop-down menu. A check mark appears next to Block Pop-Up Windows.
