How to Remove the Bottom Tray for a Craftsman Toolbox

Craftman toolboxes come with a variety of tray drawers for different size tools. If you have an item stuck in your toolbox that requires you to remove a tray or if you need to remove a tray for any other reason, then you must make sure to carefully take out the tray as to not damage the toolbox.       Grasp the handle on the bottom tray drawer and pull the drawer all the way out until it stops.

      Remove all of the contents from the bottom tray so that it is completely empty.

      Push the tray back slightly and then insert a flathead screwdriver into the slot on the side of the tray.

      Push in the latch with the screwdriver and then push in the latch on the other side of the tray.

      Pull the tray all the way out of the toolbox. Reinstall the tray back into the toolbox by pressing down on the latches and sliding the tray back in.
