How to Make a Bold Theme for the Curve With Plazmic

You can switch the theme type for your BlackBerry phone in Plazmic

When using BlackBerry Theme Builder (the new name for Plazmic Theme Builder), you can develop themes for a variety of BlackBerry devices. If you find you have been developing a theme for the BlackBerry Bold, but you want to use it on a BlackBerry Curve instead, you may be able to convert the file properties. There are various similarities between the two BlackBerry devices, so some elements of your theme will convert. Unfortunately this will not work for the entirety of your theme, so you will have to rebuild some of it.

Instructions

1. Open BlackBerry Theme Builder.

2. Click "Open Existing File." Locate and select your existing file to import it.

3. Click "Edit," then "Preferences."

4. Click "Theme," and then click the "Layout Type" drop-down and select the BlackBerry Curve you want to use.

5. Click "OK." You will now be using a modified Curve version of your theme.
