How to Make a Bracelet Using Cabochons
A cabochon bracelet is simple to create and has a sophisticated look when you finish. The cabochons are tough little beads that can take a beating, which also makes them a durable material for your bracelet. Mix and match the colors to create a intricate look or stick to a single color if you want to match the bracelet to a particular theme.

1
Purchase a set of beads that are flat and circular. The beads should have a hole that runs through the edges of the beads, allowing them to sit flat against your wrist with the circular side facing upward.
-
2
Portion out the number of beads you need to fit around your wrist. Divide the beads into three equal groups. Collect three sets of colored cabochons that are equal to the number of beads you have in each pile.

3
Glue a cabochon to each bead on one side. Allow the beads to dry before you move them.
-
4
Cut a piece of elastic string long enough to fit around your wrist. Attach the female side of a barrel clip to one side.
-
5
Thread the beads onto the string. The clip will stop them from sliding off the end. Place one bead from each group on at a time so you have intermediate colors.
-
6
Tie the male side of the barrel clip on the other side of the string.
