Tips & Warnings
Verify that the new blade is properly balanced before installing on the Kohler engine shaft. Place a non-threaded rod through the blade's bolt opening. The blade should remain balanced on the shaft in a horizontal position. This proper balancing will ensure a smooth cut during lawn mower operation.
Do not attempt to service the blade without removing the powered spark plug wire. Accidental activation of the blade can easily injure or kill a person. Take note of the new blade's sharp side. Keep fingers away from the sharp side to prevent cuts. Keep all children away from the machine while changing the blade.
