Mud mowers are a lawn mower that has been converted into a mud bogging ATV. These can be a lot of fun and a great "at-home" project for the family. Hobbyists even install new, larger tires and engines to increase the capabilities of their mud mowers. Other improvements that can be done include suspension and driver guards. Tip

If you find your newly made mud mower is bogging or if the bottom keeps hitting the ground, causing damage, install new larger tires on it. Speak with a local ATV sales center or a local lawn mower sales center to find the best tires suited for your mud mower. When increasing the tire size, it's also good to install a new suspension as well. You can also paint the mud mower to give it its own unique look.

Warnings:

  • Ensure that you have the lawn mower's original manual while building your mud mower. Use this manual while removing or installing any new parts on your lawn mower.
