How to Read KML
The KML file format is used to store geographic data in Web-based two- and three-dimensional Earth programs. The file format was originally created for use with Google Earth to store data such as latitude, longitude, place marks, images and descriptions. In order to read a KML file and its associated geographic data, host the file on a file hosting server, then access the file through Google Maps.
