Instructions

    • 1

Purchase nematodes from an organic gardening supplier. The nematodes come alive in a bag. They are very small parasites that feed on grubs.

    • 2

Place the nematodes in a yard sprayer or fertilizer spreader. Follow the directions on the bag carefully. Most call for mixing the nematodes with water before application.

    • 3

Spread the nematodes onto the yard or garden. Using the sprayer or fertilizer spreader, evenly distribute the nematodes over the effected area. They work themselves into the ground. They begin feeding and multiplying, eliminating the grubs from the area.

Tips & Warnings

  • While applying, shake the spreading container often keeping the nematodes from settling to the bottom of a sprayer or to the top of a spreader.

  • Nematodes do not do well in extreme weather. Apply the nematodes during the spring or fall months when the weather is not too hot or cold.
