How to Increase Mail Inbox Count on the iPad to More Than 200

Apple's iPad lets you link several email accounts to its Mail application. Unfortunately, the iPad is limited to showing only 200 emails at one time. This is a hard limit, and there is no way to change it on the iPad. However, if you have a server-based email account, IMAP or exchange server, you can use the search feature to search your extra emails stored on the server, then download them as necessary. Google's Gmail and Microsoft Exchange are both server-based email services. You only need to set up the account on your iPad.
