How to Do Outlines in Evernote
Evernote is a Web-based note taking and text capture application that is designed to synchronize notes across multiple devices. You can use the Evernote desktop or Web-based interface to create outlines with ease thanks to the built-in rich text editor that is included with Evernote. Outlines you create using Evernote will be available online and through every device configured to use the software.

Launch Evernote or sign into the Evernote Web interface and click the "New Note" button.

Enter a title in the "Click to set title" text box and then press "Enter."

Press the bullet button in the editing toolbar to begin an unordered list or the numbers button to begin an ordered list. Add items to your list and press "Enter" to start a new bullet.

Press the "Tab" key to create an indented sub-bullet under an existing bullet. You can nest as many levels of sub-bullets as necessary. Notes are automatically saved and synced to devices connected to Evernote.
