How to Edit XML in FeedBurner and Joomla
You can edit XML files in FeedBurner and Joomla without any special software. Of course, you can use an XML editor to edit the XML data files if you wish, but you can also open and edit these files in a no-frills text editor such as Notepad. The Extensible Markup Language (XML) file format is similar to the HTML format, and the XML format has become the standard for storing and moving data over the Internet. FeedBurner and Joomla are just two of the many Web applications that use XML files for data storage.

Launch Notepad or any other text editor installed on your computer.

Click the “File” option on the top menu bar.

Click the “Open” option. The File Open dialog box launches.

Navigate to the XML file in the dialog box; click on it and then click the “Open” button. The XML file opens in Notepad for editing.

Click the “File” option on the top taskbar and select “Save” to save the edited XML file with your changes.
