How to Create an Ares Chat Room
The Ares peer-to-peer networking program lets you chat with other online users. Additionally, you can host your own chat room if you want to chat with specific friends. Creating your own Ares chat room takes less than five minutes. Setting up your Ares chat profile is optional; you can create an Ares chat room with an anonymous chat handle.

Open Ares, and click on "Control Panel." Click on the "Chat" tab.

Set your chat nickname, and fill out your profile (optional). Click on "Load" next to "Avatar" if you want to set a chat avatar.

Click on the "Chat" link on the navigation menu.

Click on "Host Your Channel" to create your chat room. Name the chat room, and then click on "Join Room."
