How to Add Photobucket in Craigslist

Include a photo when you are selling a piece of furniture on Craigslist.

Creating an ad on Craigslist can be an easy way to sell an old piece of furniture or offer an available apartment. If you want to add interest to your post, one way to grab people's attention is by including a photograph in the ad. While you cannot include a Photobucket image code in a Craigslist ad, it is easy to save a Photobucket image to your computer and then add it to your post.

Instructions

1. Sign in to your Photobucket account, and click on the "My Albums" tab on the homepage. If you have more than one album, click on the "All Albums" tab and then open the album containing the image you want to use.

2. Click on the thumbnail of an image to open it to its full size. Right-click on the photo, and choose "Save Image As" from the right-click menu. In the pop-up window that opens, navigate to the folder on your hard drive where you want to save the image. Click "OK" to save the image to your computer. Pay attention to the file's name, which you can change in the "File Name" field, because you will need to locate the image later.

3. Go to Craigslist, and open the category in which you want to post. Click the blue "Post" link in the top right corner of the category. Select the subcategory that best fits the type of ad you want to post, and click the circle next to the area nearest to you when prompted.

4. Click on the "Add/Edit" images button under the "Posting Description" field. Click on the "Browse" button next to the first "Add" field. In the pop-up window, navigate to the same folder where you previously saved your Photobucket image.

5. Click once on the image, and then click "OK" to include it in your Craigslist ad.
