Instructions

    • 1

Soak a cotton ball with nail polish remover and rub your toenail to remove nail polish. Repeat on all of your toenails until all existing nail polish is gone.

    • 2

Pour warm water into a bowl until the water is at least two inches deep. Add a small amount of liquid dishwashing soap. Stir the dishwashing liquid in the water to mix it thoroughly.

    • 3

Dip your toes into the soapy water and soak them for ten minutes to soften your nails. Remove your toes from the bowl. Pat your feet dry using a soft towel.

    • 4

Scrub your toenails gently using a nail brush. Clean the surfaces of your nails as well as under your nails to be sure they are clean.

    • 5

Apply a small amount of buffing cream to your nails. Buff your nails gently with a nail buffer. Buff from side to side in one direction only, to keep them from getting too hot. Wipe any excess buffing cream off with a towel.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use buffing cream when you want bare nails. Nail polish might not stay on if you’ve recently used buffing cream.

  • Avoid overly buffing your nails. Buffing your nails too much can cause a burning feeling.
