How to Prepare Photos for Brides
It is the wedding photographer's responsibility to prepare the bride's pictures of her wedding day. Because the bride is not typically a professional model and is not experienced at posing or designing albums, the photographer must do this for her and combine it all into an appropriate package for the bride. There are a number of ways to make up the memories and albums to ensure the bride is pleased with the final product.

1
Ask the bride to create a list for family and group shots that will be taken either before or after the ceremony. Look at it before the wedding day and ask the bride if she would like to add anyone to the list as it is better to ask ahead of time rather than risk not having these people in the wedding pictures.
-
2
Capture all key moments of the wedding day in photographs. For example, shoot the traditionally important moments such as the father giving away the bride, the first kiss, the exchange of rings, signing of the register, first dance, cake cutting and anyone who gives a speech.

3
Take pictures of the bride by herself as well as plenty of her and her new husband. Pose the couple to ensure you capture the bride and groom's best features while creating a feeling of love and joy.
-
4
Include some candid photographs in the album. This will help give the album a slightly less structured, formal feeling and create memories that otherwise might be overlooked when reminiscing about the wedding day.
-
5
Fix minor blemishes in the photographs during post-processing, if necessary. Ensure that the exposure and focus is correct in all pictures that the bride will see. For example, take multiple photos of the same scene but only include the best of the series in the album.
-
6
Organize photographs in chronological order. Keep the wedding ceremony, formals and reception together so that they are easy for the bride to find and sort.
