Instructions

    • 1

Insert a glue stick into a hot glue gun. Plug in the gun to heat up for 10 minutes.

    • 2

Set a grapevine wreath flat on your work surface. Squeeze six quarter-sized dollops of hot glue around the top of the wreath, spacing them evenly.

    • 3

Place the end of a 12-inch-long branch onto each dollop of hot glue. The branches should be standing vertically on top of the wreath. Allow the glue to cool and harden for two minutes.

    • 4

Squeeze pea-sized dollops of hot glue over the grapevine wreath. Press a silk fall leaf onto each dollop of glue. Let the glue cool and set for two minutes.

    • 5

Cut nylon string into six pieces, each measuring 4 inches long.

    • 6

Tie one end of each piece of nylon string around the top end of each upright branch. Tie the other end of each string onto a 3-inch-diameter rattan ball.

    • 7

Turn on six LED tea lights. Place a tea light into each rattan ball. If the open spaces in the ball are not large enough to slip the tea light through, cut one or more of the rattan strips with a scissors. Insert the tea light. Hot-glue the cut ends of the rattan strips in place.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use branches that have dried leaves attached for a more rustic-looking centerpiece.

  • Keep hot glue away from children.
