How to Make Long Clan Tags on "SOCOM: Confrontation"
"SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals Confrontation" is a video game that was developed for the Sony Playstation 3 (PS3). It's a third-person shooter style developed by Zipper Interactive Developers. The multiplayer features allow players to band together online under clan barriers so that they can play missions together competitively. A three-digit tag is added to the end of each username to show which clan a player is a member of. You can make your clan stand out from the masses by creating a long tag of nearly any length.

Load "SOCOM: Confrontation" on your Playstation 3. When the main menu screen appears, press the "O" button on your PS3 controller to log on to the Internet. Select "Yes" when the Online User Agreement for connecting to the SOCOM server appears.

Press "X" on the controller to close the server's news screen that appears. Choose the Lobby that you want to play in by using the directional pad to scroll through the list and press "X" to enter that Lobby. Scroll to the right to find the Manage Clan menu and press "X" again to enter.

Press "X" to select the option "Change Clan Tag," located at the bottom of the screen. Press "O" on the controller to enter the Chat area, then enter any combination of letters or numbers you want to use for your long tag.

Activate the lag switch. The text that you just entered will disappear; this is normal. Select "Enter," and then press the Triangle button to leave the Chat screen.

Alternate between the "O" and "X" buttons on the controller three times. There will be a short pause, then the message "Disconnected from Network" will appear on the screen. Turn off the lag switch, press "X" and choose "Connect" to log in to the SOCOM server again.

Choose the option for saying "Yes" to the Online User Agreement again, and press "X" to exit the news screen. Repeat Step 2 to return to the lobby of your choice and go to the Manage Clan menu. Select "Change Clan Tag" and press alternately the "O" and "X" buttons on your controller two times, then press the "O" button to pull up the Chat screen. Keep adding your selected clan tag and press "Enter" until the tag appears at the top of the screen.

Leave the Chat area by pressing the Triangle button. Select "Change Clan Tag" and press the "O" and "X" buttons alternately three times. When you join a new game in the Lobby, your long clan tag will be next to your user ID.
