How to Decorate Boxer Briefs
Boxer briefs decorated with a custom design can make an appropriate gift for a man on Valentine's Day, Father's Day or at his bachelor party. You can even use pairs of decorated boxer briefs to share encouraging messages or children's drawings that only the recipient of the gift will see. The craft is easy enough for children to participate in, though some adult supervision will be required for children too young to use fabric markers neatly. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Pre-wash boxer briefs. Allow them to dry thoroughly before you begin to decorate them.
-
2
Cut a piece of cardboard small enough to fit inside the boxer briefs and larger than the design you want to create. Slide the cardboard into the boxer briefs under the area you intend to decorate.

-
3
Stretch the fabric taut in the area you plan to decorate and use binder clips to secure the fabric to the edges of the cardboard to create a smooth working surface.
-
4
Decorate the area of fabric that is clipped to the cardboard by drawing or writing on it with fabric markers. If desired, remove the clips, move the cardboard to a different part of the boxers, re-clip the fabric to it and continue decorating the new area.

5
Lay paper on your ironing board to absorb any excess ink. Iron the reverse side of the boxers for about four minutes with the iron on the cotton setting.
