Instructions

    • 1

Unplug the vacuum's cord from the outlet.

    • 2

Disconnect the hose from the machine. Remove the handle end of the hose from its perch on the left side of the vacuum as if you were planning to use it for above-ground cleaning. Pull the other end of the hose from the tool caddy holder on the right side of the vacuum.

    • 3

Unclog the hose. Insert a broomstick into the handle end, gently pushing the clog out the other end. Hold the open end of the hose over a garbage can as you unclog it.

    • 4

Reattach the hose to the vacuum. Ensure all connections are secure.

    • 5

Plug the vacuum in and turn it on to test if suction has returned.

Tips & Warnings

  • Repeat the above process as many times as necessary until the clog is completely removed.

  • To clean excess dirt and dust from the hose, wrap a clean rag around the end of the broomstick before pushing it through the hose.

  • Never attempt repairs while your vacuum is plugged in.
