How to Isolate a Synth With the iTunes Equalizer

The free-to-use iTunes music manager program plays audio that is stored on the computer’s hard drive or on the disc drive. A built-in equalizer enables the user to adjust and manipulate the frequencies of the audio, which affects the quality of the sound. You can isolate a synthesized audio track by using the equalizer. The track can be enhanced for later playback. The procedure does not physically alter the audio because the equalizer only affects playback through the speakers in the computer or attached to the computer.
