How to Add a Google Meta Tag to Your 1&1 eShop
Adding meta tags to your 1&1 Internet e-shop helps Google and other search engines to accurately label and describe the site’s content in search results so that users can find relevant products and services. The Google Webmaster Tools online service and some website statistic analytics services also require you to add a short meta tag to your site to validate your ownership of the site. Add Google meta tags to your e-shop from 1&1 Internet’s advanced settings page.

Tips & Warnings
Most websites also include a meta title tag with the name of the site. You don’t need to add this to your 1&1 Internet e-shop, because 1&1 automatically includes this meta tag information.
