How to Design Your Own iPad Case
You can buy iPad cases online and at electronics and Apple stores. These mass-produced cases will keep your iPad safe from bumps, thumps and scratches but won't display your own original style to those around you. Instead of purchasing a generic iPad case, you can design your own iPad case via an online store with a design customization feature.

1
Navigate to a service online that allows you to design your own iPad case, such as My Edge (medgestore.com) or Skinit (skinit.com).
-
2
Click "iPad" if you're using My Edge. Click "Add Image," then "Browse and Upload" if you want to add your own image. Click "Add Patterns," "Colors" or "Text" to add pre-existing patterns, different colors and/or text to your iPad cover. Your selections appear on the screen, allowing you to preview your iPad case. When you're satisfied with the design, click "Preview" to see a simulation of the iPad case, or click "Checkout" to purchase the item.

Click "Clear iPad Case" if you're using Skinit; this case is made of clear durable plastic upon which you can apply a custom vinyl skin you create and purchase using Skinit's design tools. Click "Create Your Own" at the top of the screen; because you selected an iPad case, the iPad is automatically set as your default device. Click "Images" to add your own image or "Text" or "Shapes" to add either of those objects. Click "Add to Cart" to purchase the custom skin along with the clear case. Once the package arrives, peel the skin off its backing like a sticker and press it onto the iPad case.
