Apply a layer of a highlight shadow, which will be close to your skin tone, all over your eyelid area with a brush or your finger. Some good color choices: Brule, Naked Lunch, Shroom, Malt.

    • 3

Apply a layer of a blending shade on the crease of your eye with a brush or your finger. This shade should be a couple of shades darker than your skin tone. Some good choices: Wedge, Cork, Omega.

    • 4

Apply a layer of an accent shade close to your eyelid. This is best applied with a brush since it is closest to your eye and will provide a nice smokey accent or a V at the outer corner of the lid. Good choices: Espresso, Carbon, Concrete.

Tips & Warnings

  • Apply a light coat of concealer to the eye area if you don't have the M.A.C. Eye Shadow Prep & Prime primer. It will create a nice smooth base.
