  • White soap
  • Candle
  • Ski or snowboard wax

      Open a clean bar of white soap. Push the shower curtain aside so it’s in an open position. Rub the white bar of soap across the length of the shower rod to provide lubrication so the rings glide easily.

      Use a clean, white candle to provide another form of lubrication along the shower rod. Rub the bottom of the candle across the shower rod. Ski or snowboard wax provide similar results.

      Purchase easy-glide shower rings, which come with a span of ball bearings across the top. The ball bearings roll as you move the shower curtain. Slide the rings in place over the bar and install the curtains to use.
