How to Tighten Moen Sink Handles
Moen pioneered the single-handle faucet, but the company now offers a wide range of one and two-handle faucets. Moen bathroom, kitchen, laundry and bar faucets may have a plastic knob to control water flow into the sink, while some models have metal levers. Two-handle faucets have separate controls for hot and cold water, while single-handle units provide a mix of hot and cold water to the user’s liking, depending on handle position. Regardless of the style of Moen faucet you may have, loose handles can be tightened in just a few minutes. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
Moen sink handles or knobs can be replaced if desired. Remove the retaining screw or loosen the set screw, depending on which model you are working on. Pull the handle or knob straight up to remove it from the faucet. Install a new handle or knob in the reverse order.
Tighten the handle or knob retaining screw or set screw tight enough to snug the handle down and no more. Overtightening the screw can damage the handle or the faucet.
