How to Use PhotoScape Editor
The PhotoScape editor is a free, basic image editor with a number of features and effects. PhotoScape lets you resize, crop, rotate and add effects to images. It also lets you process changes in bulk, which is useful if you need to make uniform edits to a large number of photos.

Cropping Images

Open PhotoScape and click on "Editor."

Navigate through your folders in the left pane to select an image. Click on an image to open it.

Click on the "Crop" tab at the bottom of the editor.

Click your cursor on the image. Hold the mouse button down and drag the window around the area you want to leave intact.

Click on "Crop" to crop the image to the selected area.
Adding Effects

Open the photo you want to edit in PhotoScape.

Click on the "Home" tab at the bottom of the editor.

Click on the "Filters" tab.

Select the effect you want to add to the image. For example, to make your picture look old, select the "Antique" effect.
Rotating and Resizing Images

Open your image in PhotoScape. Click on the "Home" tab at the bottom of the photo editor.

Click on the "Resize" button to open the image size wizard. Select the size you want to set the image to. To maintain the image proportions, select "Preserve Aspect Ratio."

Click on the arrows above the "Home" tab to rotate the image. The left arrow rotates the image to the left; the right arrow rotates it to the right; the up and down arrows flip the image horizontally or vertically; and the circular arrow lets you freely rotate the image.
Batch Image Editing

Open PhotoScape and click on "Batch Editor."

Drag and drop the photos you want to batch edit from the left sidebar.

Set the desired changes on the right sidebar. These apply to all the images. To add a filter to all the photos, select "Filter," then select the effect. To resize all of the images, select "Resize."

Click on "Convert All" to save the changes to all of the images.
