How to Look Tattooed in Photoshop
Tattoos are all the rage these days, with many people having several. Tattoos are a method for self-expression, giving you a chance to tell the world who you are. However, they also hurt when they are applied, and can sometimes lead to nasty infections. But you can have the best of both worlds by adding an entirely pain free tattoo to a photo of yourself using the tools of Photoshop.

Load a photo of yourself to which you wish to add a tattoo onto your computer.

Start Photoshop. Click “File” in the menu at the top and click “Open.” Go to the image you loaded and open it. Click on the “New Layer” button in the “Layers” panel.

Click the “Custom Shape” tool from the toolbar. From the presets, choose a design you would like to use for a tattoo.

Drag with the mouse on the canvas to draw the design where you want it. Reduce the layer “Opacity” to 60 percent.

Click “Edit” from the menu and click “Transform.” From the options, click “Distort.” Use the handles that appear to adjust the shape to fit the contour of the body part to which the tattoo is being applied.

Click “Filter” from the menu and click “Noise.” Click “Add Noise.” In the dialog, make the “Amount” 15 and click “OK.” Save your work.
