How to Apply Studio Gear True Red Lipstick

Things You'll Need

• Lip balm or base
• Lip brush
• Tissue
• Clear gloss

Instructions

1. Start off with clean lips. Remove any leftover lipstick, gloss or food particles for a clean palette to work on.

2. Apply a clear lip balm or lipstick base to smooth the lips as well as give them an even surface to work on.

3. Rub a small amount of the lipstick onto a lip brush. Blot the excess color onto a tissue. Using a brush will give a more precise application and eliminate sketchy lines.

4. Sweep the brush slowly across your bottom lip from left to right, filling it in completely. Smack your lips and rub them together to distribute the color to the top lip. Add a couple of light sweeps on the top lip if it doesn't have enough color.

5. Blot off any excess color with a tissue. Add a coat of clear gloss for extra shiny lips.
