How to Get to Your Router's Configuration Settings
Many router configuration pages are automatically accessible when you open your Web browser after connecting the router. However, most routers from about 2008 and before don't have this feature, requiring you to find the configuration page yourself by accessing the router's Web page online. This requires you to have an Internet connection already established. You will need to know your username and password, though the default username and password is accessible online.
