How to Change a Movie to a TV Show in iTunes 9
ITunes 9 lets you categorize your media by kind, such as television shows and movies. Unfortunately, sometimes the software categorizes the media incorrectly. Previous versions of iTunes had a “Get Info” drop-down box where you could manually change the media kind. You can also change it in iTunes 9, but it takes a few more steps.

Click on the Movie folder. Right-click on the media you would like to change from movie to TV show.

Select “Get Info” from the list. Click “Options,” and select “Media Kind.”
