How to Troubleshoot a Lagging Scroll
Graphics Processing Unit Rendering is the default mode for Internet Explorer 9. When GPU Rendering is not supported, the browser uses Software Rendering mode, which may cause scrolls to lag. Determine mode your browser is using and then verify that your computer's video driver or video card supports GPU hardware acceleration.
