How to Look Flawless at Night at a Party

Applying party makeup can be as much fun as actually going to the event. Looking your best does not necessarily mean piling on the cosmetics, but rather creating a bit of glamour while enhancing the features that you already have. Focus on glowing skin and sultry eyes and pair them with a fabulous dress and sexy strappy heels for the perfect party look.

Things You'll Need

• Foundation
• Makeup sponge
• Bronzer
• Blush
• Makeup brushes
• Eyeliner
• Mascara
• Eye shadow
• Eyebrow powder
• Lipstick

Instructions

1. Apply foundation with a cosmetic sponge over the entirety of your face. Select a color that matches your skin tone; ask a salesperson at the cosmetics store or counter for help if you are unsure of the right color. Smooth the foundation out with the cosmetic sponge so that it is even and your skin contains no streaks.

2. Swipe bronzer just under the apples of your cheeks to enhance your cheekbones. Start the stroke at the bottom and bring it up toward your ear. Choose a color that is one to two shades darker than your skin tone.

3. Brush blush right above the bronzer line. Pick peach undertones if your skin is fair and rose or pink colors for darker complexions.

4. Line your eyes with a dark brown or black pencil for definition and apply a black mascara.

5. Use a tricolored eye shadow kit; the darkest color is applied in one line above the eyeliner, the medium color is for the crease and the lightest color should be brushed under the brow to highlight.

6. Fill in your eyebrows with eyebrow powder. Use an eyebrow brush to draw short marks throughout your eyebrows, which can help to create a full and youthful look.

7. Select an all-day lipstick to prevent having to reapply every few minutes. Choose a glamorous glossy red for an evening party.
