1
Place a round piece of tulle over an individual cake stand. It should cover the stand completely, draped over the sides, like a mini tablecloth. For a layered look, use three circles of varying lengths. Use tulle in the wedding colors and alternate with white.

2
Dab a small amount of nontoxic glue around the perimeter of each cake tier stand. Press tulle into the glue and continue to drape tulle around the edge of the stand. Drape the tulle to create a garland effect or wrap the tulle tightly and tie into a bow. To add color, loosely twist two or more colors of tulle. Press the tulle against the tulle in several areas. Allow the glue to dry for 24 hours before putting the cake on the stand.

4
Loosely drape tulle around the base of the cake. Add any embellishments to the tulle that complement the theme of the wedding, such as seashells or fresh flowers, by putting the items inside the twists of the tulle.
