Inquire with the church minister or caretaker of any limitations you need to consider while decorating the front of the church. This will enable you to abide by the church’s guidelines, if any, in regard to decorations.

2
Hang Western icons on the front of the church entrance door. Attach a cowboy hat or horseshoe on the door. Add a touch of class by wrapping a bit of tulle fabric around the cowboy hat, and tying it into a bow or letting it hang loose.

Wrap the handrail with small wildflower bouquets. You can use real or silk wildflowers, tie them together with decorative raffia or ribbon, and strategically place these decorations on the handrail to add style to your Western decorations.

Line the steps leading to the front of the church with hay for a dramatic Western theme effect. Place bales of artificial hay or feed bags near the church entrance. Position a saddle, horse bridle and rope on top of the hay bale.
