How to Measure Lampshades for Stiffel Lamps
Whether you’re bored with your Stiffel’s present shade or just want to swap it out for a newer replacement, proper measuring will mean the difference between a shade that fits the lamp like a glove and one that looks awkward. One important rule to remember is the sequence of the measurements. Whenever you place an order for a Stiffel lampshade, always list the top measurement first, followed by the bottom, finishing with the side or slant. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
Measure the top, bottom and slant of the lampshade at least twice, double-checking the results to ensure that they are correct.
Do not reverse or switch any of the numbers when ordering the lampshade. Even slight errors can result in the receipt of a lampshade that is the wrong shape or size. Remember, if the top of the lampshade measures 9 inches, the bottom 12 inches and the slant 10 inches, look for a shade with the measurements printed as 9-12-10.
