How Do I Clean Stinky Sandals?
Stinky sandals can be embarrassing. Whether the smell is caused by foot odor, storing them in a damp location or just general wear and tear, it's not unusual for sandals to get stinky on occasion. Brush any dirt or debris off the sandals with a toothbrush.

Mix a 1/2 cup of bleach with water in a dish pan. Add just enough water to cover the sandals.

Soak the sandals for an hour. Remove them from the bleach bath and wipe them down with a soft cotton cloth. It's best to soak leather sandals for only 10 minutes so the bleach doesn't damage the leather. Also, sandals with embellishments or tiny jewels should not be soaked.

Dry outside in the sun and fresh air.

Sprinkle with baking soda to deter any bacteria from gathering in the sandals and causing more odor.
