How to Clean a Chrome Necklace
Jewelry makers create necklaces from many types of metals, including stainless steel, silver, chrome and gold. Like any necklace, necklaces made from chrome will dull or look dirty if not cleaned occasionally. Dampen the chrome necklace and a soft cloth under a faucet. Cover the sink drain, if applicable, to avoid dropping the necklace down the drain.

Sprinkle baking soda on the cloth. Rub the cloth over the necklace.

Dampen a soft-bristle toothbrush. Use this to gently remove dirt from the crevices in the necklace.

Rinse the necklace in warm water. Buff it dry with a soft, dry cloth.

Tips & Warnings
Do not clean chrome necklaces with metal scrubbing pads or use abrasive powders more abrasive than baking soda. Doing so may scratch the chrome.
