Fix slow email problems by changing your Netzero access number.

NetZero is an Internet service provider that offers dial-up connections through a standard 56K modem. Each NetZero dial-up customer also gets access to a private email account with the "@netzero.net" domain. If you are attempting to send or receive your Netzero email but are experiencing delays or see a message that says "Done" without anything else loading, you may need to change your Netzero access number to get around heavy network traffic.

      Launch Netzero, click on "Settings" in the welcome screen and select "Locations."

      Highlight the name of the location you are currently using and press "Modify."

      Confirm the phone number of the line connected to your modem and click "Continue."

      Uncheck the box in the "Select" column that is currently checked.

      Check the "Select" box next to a different access number. If you do not see any other numbers, choose a different local area code from the drop-down menu.

      Press "Continue" and then "Finish" to save the changes.
