How to Recover Visited Websites on Mozilla
At some point everyone has closed a browser before bookmarking or reading vital tabs. Thankfully it's easier than ever to restore old browsing sessions, especially in Mozilla's most recent edition of Firefox, Firefox 7. When you restore a previous session, not only will Firefox open all your closed tabs but it will also return you to where you were located on the page. However, form data may not be retained from the previous session and pages will probably be refreshed when opened.

1
Open Firefox. If Firefox was closed only a few seconds ago, you may get an error saying that Firefox is already running and another instance cannot be opened. Give Firefox another couple seconds to finish closing the previous session and try again. If Firefox ends unexpectedly and without warning, the next time you open it will either restore the previous session automatically or take you to restore session page. Click "Restore" if you're on this page.

2
Go to the "History" menu (press "Alt" to summon it if you can't see it) and select "Restore Previous Session." This opens all the tabs you had open when Firefox closed. Restoring your session also restores your list of previously closed tabs. From the "History" menu you can also go to "Recently Closed Tabs" and choose either individual tabs or select "Restore All Tabs." If your Firefox homepage is set to the default "about:home," click the "Restore Previous Session" button along the bottom of the page.

Go to "Firefox" and choose "Options." Click the "Tabs" tab and make sure that the setting "Warn Me When Closing Multiple Tabs" is selected. With this set, any time you try to close your browser with multiple tabs open it'll ask you if you really want to close all your tabs. This can help you avoid killing an entire session in the future, although it does nothing at all if you're only closing one tab.

Tips & Warnings
Form data might be retained in sessions that were shut down unexpectedly due to an error or manually ending the process.
You can open the most recently closed tab by click "Ctrl," "Shift" and "T" on your keyboard.
