Instructions

    • 1

Pour a few drops of olive oil into a small bowl and heat it up in the microwave for about 10 to 15 seconds. Test to ensure it will not burn your skin.

    • 2

Pour the heated oil over the nails, and let it sit for about two minutes. Rub it in the cuticles, massaging them.

    • 3

Push down gently on your cuticles with a cuticle pusher. Hold the pusher at an angle and follow the curve of your nails.

    • 4

Rub an emery board in small circles to remove any excess skin around the cuticles. If there are longer, hard-to-remove pieces, clip them off with a nail clipper.

    • 5

Rinse your hands and nails off and dry with a towel. Apply an exfoliating scrub made from a little bit of sugar and a couple drops of coconut or vitamin E oil onto the cuticles and massage gently. Rinse off with warm water.
