How to Freeze a Column in Apple Pages
Pages, the word processor from Apple Inc. that is part of the iWork suite of applications, contains a feature that allows you to freeze a table's column. Freezing a column in a Pages document makes that column remain visible at all times, even if you scroll down the page. You can freeze a table's column in Pages from within the Table Inspector window.

Select "Show Inspector" from the "View" menu.

Click on the "Left Row" icon under the "Headers & Footer" category. Pages only allows you to freeze the leftmost column.
