How to Reduce Curl in the Brother HL-5170DN
Brother Industries is a Japanese company that manufacturers a wide array of consumer products, including sewing machines, large machine tools, label printers, typewriters, fax machines, and computer printers. One of its products, the Brother HL-5170DN, is a duplex-style laser printer with a built-in Ethernet network interface and an expandable paper input capacity. Like many laser printers, the HL-5170DN is subject to releasing its printed paper with edges that are slightly curled if it is used infrequently, leading to distorted text on the paper. There are a number of steps you can take to mitigate those instances.
