Instructions

    • 1

Smooth the facial stubble with eyebrow wax applied in the natural direction of the hair growth. This helps disguise the growth and enables concealer and foundation makeup to do a more effective job.

    • 2

Disguise facial stubble with makeup. Find a foundation that complements your skin’s texture and tone and apply it in downward strokes over the problem area and the rest of your face. Blend it in with your fingers or a makeup sponge, concentrating on the skin around your eyes, nose, cheeks and chin. If you're a woman, dab on a little powder to even out your skin tone if the foundation doesn’t cover the facial hair completely. If you're a man, make sure and smooth any lines around the hair and jawline if you don't want it to be apparent that you are wearing makeup.

Apply concealer. This effectively hides facial hair that is relatively sparse. Apply concealer to the affected area, then, using your fingers, dab on small amounts of foundation in a color close to your natural skin tone to even out the concealer.

    • 4

Hide facial stubble with grease paint. This theatrical makeup gives a smooth coverage, but use only sparingly on the affected area, then apply foundation and a dusting of powder.
