How to Make a Multipage Scan With a Canon MP160

Scanning multiple documents can be time-consuming and monotonous, requiring time to align each of your documents on the scanner's bed and save each scan one by one. But if you're an owner of one of Canon's MP160 all-in-one printers, you can save time on small- and medium-sized documents. Using the MP160's advanced scanning functions and the included MP Navigator software, you can scan several documents at once and save each of them to separate files.

Instructions

    • 1

Lift the scanner's cover, then place your documents face down onto the scanning bed. Keep your documents at least 1/3 inches away from the edge of the scanning bed.

    • 2

From MP Navigator, click on the "Scan/Import" button, then click on the "Open Scanner Driver" option.

    • 3

Click on the "Advanced Mode" tab, then click on the "Preview" button beneath it. Click on the "Multi-Crop" button, then click "Scan" to begin scanning all of your documents at once.
