How to Get Makeup to Stick to Scars

If you have scars on your face, you might feel embarrassed and self-conscious about them. • Makeup sponge or brush
• Primer
• Finishing powder
• Facial cleanser
• Toner
• Cotton balls
• Facial moisturizer

Instructions

1. Wash your face with a facial cleanser, as it is important to start with clean skin. Apply toner to a cotton ball and rub it over your face. Remove all the impurities from the scarred area before you begin to put makeup on it. Makeup also tends to stick to clean skin better than dirty skin.

2. Apply moisturizer to your scar, as makeup sticks to smooth, moist skin much better than dry flaky skin.

3. Apply a primer to your scar with a makeup sponge. This will fill in the lines and crevasses around your scar and give your makeup something to stick to.

4. Set your makeup with finishing powder, after you have finished applying your concealer and foundation to the scar area. Use a brush or puff to apply the powder. This will help to keep the makeup around the scar area in place.
