Instructions

Wash a plastic cross stitch sheet in a mild detergent and allow it to dry completely. Frost your snake cake and wait a few minutes for the frosting to begin to harden a little. Start at the base of the snake and gently press the sheet into the frosting to create a grid imprint. Gently peel off the sheet and repeat on the entire cake.

Cut a prism acrylic flat lens diffuser, or a fluorescent light cover, to measure approximately 5 by 5 inches. Wash the sheet and wait for it to dry. Press the sheet into the cake frosting to create a diamond pattern. Repeat on the entire cake.

Select a rubber textured print maker, or rubber stamp, with a honeycomb, cobblestone, snakeskin or diamond pattern. Wash the stamp with mild detergent and dry it completely. Gently press the stamp along the frosted cake to create a variety of snake patterns.
