Wash a plastic cross stitch sheet in a mild detergent and allow it to dry completely. Frost your snake cake and wait a few minutes for the frosting to begin to harden a little. Start at the base of the snake and gently press the sheet into the frosting to create a grid imprint. Gently peel off the sheet and repeat on the entire cake.
