How to Makeup Your Eyes for Daytime
Casual daytime eye makeup is usually less noticeable than nighttime makeup, which can look either more formal or more festive. A darker makeup can be added to the daytime makeup to make it more dramatic and noticeable. The color you use on your eyes should match the gloss you apply to your lips to finish off the look and make your makeup match. Dab a base onto your eyelid and rub it into all areas. This will help make the makeup look brighter.

Put a pink base on your eyelid with your finger by swiping it from the inside of the lid to the outside. This will help your makeup stand out a bit more.

Dab a flat shader brush into eyeshadow. Pad the eyeshadow onto the eyelid area.

Dab a dome brush into a color that is slightly lighter than your natural skin tone. Apply the makeup into the crease of the eyelid at the top of the eye.

Apply a color similar to your natural skin color just under your eyebrow. This will highlight your eyes. Blend the colors out slightly with the brush.

Dab a tissue on the makeup then lighten the tone. The daylight will accent the colors.

Dip an angled, thin brush into eyeliner and sweep it against your eyelashes. Apply mascara to your lashes to make them appear longer.
