How to Import a Photo From iPhoto to Lightroom 3

The library information in iPhoto is stored inside of a package file instead of a regular folder. This makes importing a photo from iPhoto to Lightroom 3 a bit more complex because Lightroom 3 is not able to read the iPhoto package file. Therefore, to import a photo from the iPhoto application to Lightroom 3, photos stored in your iPhoto library have to be exported to a location Lightroom 3 can see. The process of importing a photo that has no edits from iPhoto to Lightroom 3 is different from the process of importing a photo that does have edits.
