How to Check Structures Using APNs
Assessor Parcel numbers, or APNs, are unique identifiers assigned to parcels of land by property tax assessors. APNs generally consist of four sets of integers that correspond to the book, page, block and parcel number. Using an APN, you can find out about a property's value, description or net taxable value. Most local government offices provide online services that can help you find information about structures using a street address or APNs.
