Ignore unsolicited links sent to you by sender’s that are not on your buddy list.

Click the “Block Sender” button in the top-left corner of the Yahoo! chat conversation window of the unsolicited sender. A confirmation window appears.

Click the “Block” button in the Block this Sender confirmation window. The sender’s information is added to your blocked list and they no longer can send you messages.
